The Ministry of Health launched the national campaign for vaccination against the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) this week. ‘Manuela will be born soon. Meanwhile, Marina is getting ready. She and Leonardo came early when they heard that vaccination against the respiratory syncytial virus had started in Rio through the public health system,’ Marina Pilotto shared. RSV is responsible for 75% of bronchiolitis cases and 40% of pneumonia cases in children under 2 years old. ‘We have several cases of children close to us who had bronchiolitis and had to be intubated,’ Marina added.
