Ministry of Justice Recognizes War Correspondent Roman Alekhin as Foreign Agent

The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has included war correspondent and former advisor to the former governor of the Kursk region, Roman Alekhin, on the list of foreign agents. Along with him, the registry added activist Ivan Vostrykov, historian Sergey Erlikh, journalist Elena Rykovtseva, and the media project Avtozak-LIVE. The Ministry of Justice identified Alekhin as a foreign agent based on the Foreign Agents Law, which requires certain individuals and organizations that engage in political activities and receive funding from abroad to register as foreign agents. These individuals and projects will now have to label all their materials as being distributed by a foreign agent.
