Miss Universe 2025 Contestants Express Discontent with Results

Two contestants from the 74th edition of Miss Universe have expressed their discontent with the outcome of the contest, which saw Mexican Fátima Bosch emerge as the winner. Fátima Bosch’s victory has brought joy to her fellow countrymen, but it has also raised questions about the transparency of her selection as the winner of the competition. Miss Ecuador, Nadie Mejía-Webb, took to her Instagram stories to express her sentiments following her participation in Miss Universe.
“There is so much I want to say; in the past few days, I have had thousands of thoughts running through my mind, seeking understanding and peace about what happened this year at Miss Universe. I would be lying if I said it doesn’t hurt me… but I also know, with all my heart, that everything will be fine,” she wrote.
Continuing her message of resilience, the beauty queen stated, “I know this moment was completely out of my control, but what was in my hands was the way I represented my country; Ecuador, I gave you all of me. Ecuador has taught me that even in the toughest moments, our people move forward with resilience, courage, and hope. We fight for what is right, we fight with love, and I will continue to honor my title with dignity.”
