Installations by renowned international artists, such as Michelangelo Pistoletto from Italy and Alexandre Farto from Portugal, have been set up in the desert under the iconic pyramids of Giza near Cairo. The fifth edition of the contemporary art exhibition ‘Forever is Now’ will be on display until December 6. Pistoletto, at 92 years old, showcases his famous work ‘Il Terzo Paradiso’, featuring a three-meter-tall mirrored obelisk and blocks forming the infinity symbol in the sand. ‘We have organized over 2,000 events worldwide, reaching approximately five million people with the message of the Third Paradise,’ said Francesco Saverio Teruzzi, construction coordinator in Pistoletto’s team.
