Minister of the Supreme Federal Court Alexandre de Moraes set a 24-hour deadline for the Federal District Penal Police to provide information about former President Jair Bolsonaro’s visit to a hospital on Sunday. Bolsonaro, under house arrest since early August, arrived at Hospital DF Star in Brasília around 8 a.m. for skin lesion removal procedures. According to Moraes’ new decision, the police must submit a report on the escort, including details on the vehicle that transported the former president, the agents who accompanied him in the room, and ‘the reason for not immediately transporting after medical clearance’. The ruling allowing Bolsonaro’s temporary exit to the hospital stated that he should stay at DF Star only for the necessary medical attention, returning home immediately after.
