Netanyahu challenges UN figures in press conference, denies hunger in Gaza: ‘global campaign of lies’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Sunday that there is no hunger in Gaza, despite numbers provided by the United Nations (UN). In his first meeting with the international press since announcing a plan to expand the war and take control of Gaza City, he also criticized newspapers like The New York Times, which, according to him, blindly believed what he described as ‘Hamas propaganda’. ‘The only people deliberately starving in Gaza today are our hostages, hungry because of the Hamas monsters,’ declared Netanyahu, adding that Israel ‘will win the war with or without support from other countries.’
