New ‘Alexa’ with screen are already on sale in Brazil

The line of “Alexas with screen” has improved audio and display, as well as a more elegant design. The speakers are now facing forward, in a round module covered with “3D knit” fabric, which helps in sound propagation. They come with the AZ3 Pro processor, Amazon’s most powerful, and with Omnisense technology, which uses multiple sensors to better understand what is happening in the environment. Thus, they can offer faster, proactive, and “intelligent” interactions, including advanced features of Alexa+ – a version of the assistant with generative AI, yet to be made available in Brazil.
The new line, designed for Alexa+, has two more members: Echo Dot Max: compact and powerful. It is like an evolution of the “little ball,” with sound that adapts to the environment and a new design (the light ring is in the front). It has two drivers and offers triple the bass of the Echo Dot (5th generation), according to the company. It is already on sale for $849. Echo Studio (2nd generation): powerful sound. The “Alexa party” now also has a spherical shape, 40% more compact than the original (which was a cylindrical tower). It provides the best sound in the line, with three drivers and a high excursion woofer, and is designed for spatial audio, with Dolby Atmos support. It should arrive in Brazil by the end of the month, for $1,999. Alexa+ was announced in February this year and is being gradually distributed to customers in the United States, mainly for devices with a screen (Echo Show), even from previous generations. But the fastest way to access it is to buy one of these new products, which were designed for it. Over there, Alexa+ is free for Amazon Prime subscribers and costs $20 per month for others; there is still no information on its operation in Brazil.
