New video shows thieves escaping after robbery at the Louvre Museum

A new video circulating on social media and released by the French press shows the exact moment when criminals who stole eight historical pieces from the Louvre Museum in Paris last Sunday (19) flee the scene. In the footage, you can see the suspects leaving the Louvre hanging from a crane. The museum’s president and director, Laurence Des Cars, provided information about the robbery of the eight jewels. During a hearing at the French Senate on Wednesday (22), she advocated for the creation of a police station inside the museum to prevent future incidents. In the new images showing the assailants’ escape, it is possible to see the two men fleeing the museum while police sirens blare in the background. The entire operation took 3 minutes and 52 seconds.
