A new proposal for managed public access to the Pinnacle Hillfort at Rathcoran on Baltinglass Hill is seen as a potential game changer for tourism in west Wicklow, according to local TD Edward Timmins. The plan includes the development of five small pods in an existing mature forest area, as well as a modest car park at road level. These facilities are intended to facilitate the creation of a designated pathway leading safely to the Pinnacle, a National Monument recognized for its stunning views and archaeological significance.
