Ng Eain Yow’s Unexpected Quarter-Finals Loss at Indian Open

World No. 14 squash player Ng Eain Yow’s run at the Indian Open came to an end after he suffered a surprise loss to world No. 37 Yahya Elnawasany of Egypt in the quarter-finals on Thursday (Nov 21). Third seed Eain Yow had to endure a tough battle against eighth seed Elnawasany, and the Egyptian came through with the 8-11, 12-10, 5-11, 11-9, 15-13 win in 86 minutes at the Daly College in Indore. It was the first time Eain Yow fell to Elnawasany, after having won both their previous meetings at the 2019 Egyptian Open and 2024 China Open. Eain Yow will now shift his focus towards the Hong Kong Football Club Open from Nov 25-29.
