Recently, several areas in Surabaya have been submerged by floods, drawing attention from various stakeholders, including the government and the public. Addressing the problem, Dio Alif Hutama ST MSc, a lecturer from the Faculty of Science and Technology at Airlangga University, emphasized the need for early anticipation of increased flood risks. Given that the peak of the rainy season in the area is predicted to occur only in January and February 2026.
