According to analytical data from Auto.ru Evaluation, November marked the most significant jump in the average price of new vehicles this year. Specifically, the average cost of Russian-made cars increased by 8% compared to October, reaching 1.85 million rubles. The average price of new cars from China exceeded 3.68 million rubles, showing a 3% growth from the previous month, as indicated in the research.
Auto.ru Evaluation analysts also note that in November, some models in the Russian car market became more affordable. The cost of the Jetour Dashing crossover decreased by 3.6% to 3 million rubles, while the Voyah Dream dropped to 8.24 million rubles (a 1.6% decrease) and the Omoda C5 to 2.67 million rubles (a 1.4% decrease).
Experts attribute the November surge in average cost to a complex combination of factors, such as price revisions trending upwards and changes in the supply structure. Specifically, the number of Chinese car sale listings decreased by 10% month-on-month and 60% year-on-year. At the same time, the supply of domestic brand cars increased by 13%. The report emphasizes that the supply of Lada Iskra cars grew 1.5 times compared to October.
In three Russian regions, prices for new cars dropped by over 10% in November. The largest decrease, to 1.99 million rubles, was recorded in the Kaluga region. Moscow led in price growth with a 4.5% increase (reaching 5.46 million rubles), while St. Petersburg saw only a 1% rise (to 3.3 million rubles).
