National Stock Exchange (NSE) is set to start a new pre-open session for the Equity Derivatives segment, which includes Futures and Options (F&O). It will commence from December 8. This pre-open session will be available for single stock and index futures and options. NSE has announced that the pre-open session will run through a call auction mechanism, lasting for just 15 minutes from 9:00 am to 9:15 am. The 15-minute session has been divided into three parts for better efficiency.
