Washington Capitals’ forward Alexander Ovechkin has moved to fifth place in NHL history for points in road games including playoffs. The Russian player recorded two assists in a regular season NHL game against the Los Angeles Kings (3:1). Ovechkin now has a total of 875 points in road games, surpassing Ron Francis to claim the fifth spot in the list of top scorers in away games in the league. Ahead of Ovechkin on this list are Steve Yzerman (936 points), Jaromir Jagr (944), Mark Messier (1017), and Wayne Gretzky (1295) respectively.
