At least 91 individuals are believed to be trapped under the debris of a collapsed school in Indonesia, as confirmed by government officials. Indonesia’s National Agency for Disaster Management (BNPB) disclosed the updated information on Tuesday evening, with the number of victims potentially trapped in the rubble. As rescue operations continue, authorities are working diligently to locate and extract the survivors buried beneath the wreckage. The rescue efforts are challenged by the extensive destruction caused by the collapse, which has made it difficult for search and rescue teams to access certain areas of the site. Despite the challenging conditions, six survivors have been in communication with the rescue teams, providing hope for their safe retrieval.
