Wolverhampton is the latest target of John Textor, a shareholder in Botafogo’s SAF. According to ‘The Athletic,’ the American businessman has already made a billion-dollar offer to purchase the English club. The proposal to the Fosun Group, a Chinese conglomerate, is $200 million (around R$1.07 billion) plus $350 million (R$1.88 billion) in shares. In July, John Textor sold 44.9% of the shares of Crystal Palace for R$1.4 billion. He does not hide his intention to buy another English club and has other possibilities, such as Sheffield Wednesday.
