Pakistan and Egypt have come to an agreement to enhance cooperation in political dialogue, defense, trade, and counterterrorism efforts following recent high-level discussions in Islamabad. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelatty made the announcement during a joint press conference at the Foreign Office. Dar emphasized the importance of solidifying bilateral ties with Egypt, highlighting it as a significant partner in the Muslim world. The two countries have outlined plans to expand their political engagement, boost economic partnerships, and deepen defense cooperation. Additionally, Pakistan will provide Egypt with a list of 250 business houses across various sectors, with plans to add another 250 companies within six months.
