Pakistani Troops Likely to Join International Peacekeeping Force in Gaza: Israeli Media

Israeli lawmakers have been informed that troops from Pakistan may be included in a proposed international peacekeeping force for Gaza, alongside personnel from Indonesia and Azerbaijan, according to a report by Israeli news outlet Ynet. The report said the briefing was given to members of the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee during a closed-door session last week. The proposed deployment, if confirmed, would form part of an international effort to stabilize Gaza following the recent ceasefire. It further stated that a US-backed international force to stabilize security in Gaza will include soldiers from the three Muslim countries.
