Passengers in the entire train car applaud as two centenarian war veterans return to Wuhan with honor

On the afternoon of September 4th, war veterans Song Qixiang and Liu Jixiang boarded a high-speed train to return to Wuhan, Hubei. The two veterans, along with a group of over 20 representatives of war veterans, martyrs’ families, and outstanding retired military personnel, had attended a commemorative event in Beijing marking the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
