Patients at Government Hospitals in Tamil Nadu to be Designated as ‘Health Beneficiaries’

Patients seeking health services at government hospitals throughout Tamil Nadu will soon be referred to as ‘health beneficiaries’. Health Minister Ma. Subramanian announced that a Government Order will be issued in the next two days to implement this change. The aim is to promote awareness on HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to encourage a more positive and empowering view of healthcare services provided to the public.
