The full club statement reads: “The attacker felt muscle pain during last Tuesday’s training session (18) and had to leave the activity. On Wednesday (19), he underwent an imaging exam that confirmed a muscular injury in his left thigh. The player has already started treatment with Flamengo’s Medical Department. Also this morning, Pedro underwent a follow-up X-ray on his right forearm, which showed signs of healing in the ulna fracture”.
Arm injury
Flamengo last week released information and images of striker Pedro, who has been training with the rest of the team for seven days, wearing a new protection on his fractured right arm. However, the current model is still rigid and poses a danger to the opponent, so it is not authorized by the referees. The final game protection will be like a bandage that facilitates movement without posing that risk.
