Perplexity AI to be Integrated into Snapchat, Huge Increase in Share Prices Expected

Perplexity’s artificial intelligence-powered search engine has already made a mark in the world of technology. This AI-rich search engine service has sparked interest in various countries around the world. In the coming days, Snapchat will also incorporate Perplexity AI’s service. A recent agreement has been signed between Perplexity AI Incorporation and Snap Incorporation to enable this service on Snapchat, leading to a significant increase in Snap’s share prices. The startup company Perplexity will integrate its search engine into Snapchat’s chat interface starting in early 2026. This integration comes with a hefty price tag of $40 billion given by Perplexity to Snapchat within the next year through cash and equity. This integration will allow Snapchat users to easily access various search results. Snapchat users will benefit from a significant advantage over TikTok and Facebook in terms of competition, according to Snap’s CEO Evan Spiegel, who stated, ‘Perplexity will control the various responses of the chatbots within Snapchat.’ Reuters reported that Snapchat’s revenue reached $15.1 billion by the end of September, reflecting a 10% increase, even though a net loss of $104 million was incurred. Despite this loss, Snapchat’s paid subscribers increased from 160 million to 170 million.
