In a geopolitical context where Asia is consolidating as a driver of the global economy, Peru has taken a decisive step to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia. President Dina Boluarte, accompanied by Foreign Minister Elmer Schialer, led a delegation to Indonesia, where they engaged in high-level talks with Indonesian officials. The highlight of the visit was the signing of the Joint Declaration Peru-Indonesia, which reaffirmed and renewed commitments made by both countries back in 2024.
