A 42-year-old Peruvian woman could potentially face a death sentence after being arrested at Bali Airport in Indonesia on August 12 with 1.4 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a sex toy and her underwear. The woman was caught with the drugs in a sting operation conducted by Indonesian authorities. The Peruvian citizen, whose identity has not been disclosed, was attempting to smuggle the drugs into the country. If found guilty, she could be sentenced to death under Indonesia’s strict drug laws.
