Petrobras reported a net profit of R$ 32.7 billion in the third quarter of 2025, a 0.5% increase compared to the same period last year. Excluding extraordinary events, however, the profit decreased by 6.1% to R$ 28.5 billion. In light of its performance, Petrobras announced the distribution of R$ 12.1 billion in dividends. The state-owned company has accumulated a profit of R$ 94.5 billion and dividends of R$ 32.4 billion in the year so far. ‘Petrobras is generating positive financial results and dividends for its shareholders, even in the face of the new oil price levels,’ stated the company’s CFO, Fernando Melgarejo, highlighting the $11 decrease in Brent oil price over 12 months.
