Philippines to Send 48 Athletes to 2025 Asian Youth Para Games

The Philippines has confirmed participation in the 2025 Asian Youth Para Games, set to take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from Dec. 7 to Dec. 14. The delegation will consist of 48 athletes, competing in nine different sports. Goalball will have the largest representation with 12 para athletes, followed by athletics with 10 participants. Additionally, seven para swimmers, four powerlifters, four table tennis players, four wheelchair basketball players, three badminton players, and two athletes each in boccia and archery will represent the country. Milette Santiago-Bonoan, chief of mission of the Philippine team, expressed confidence in the team’s potential and the importance of the event in developing young Asian para-athletes on an international platform.
