Plaza Indonesia Foundation and AMAN Provide Aid to Victims of Flash Floods in Agam

TRIBUNNEWS.COM, BUKITTINGGI – Plaza Indonesia Foundation, together with PT Andika Mulia Nusantara (AMAN), in collaboration with Bawah Pasa Saiyo Bukittinggi volunteers, provided humanitarian assistance to the communities affected by flash floods and landslides in the Salareh Aia area, Palembayan District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. The aid included basic necessities and essential supplies such as groceries, household items, and other critical goods aimed at meeting the basic needs of the victims during the post-disaster recovery period.

Through this initiative, Plaza Indonesia Foundation and AMAN reaffirmed their commitment to support the recovery efforts and alleviate the burden on communities facing difficult times. The spirit of mutual cooperation and solidarity formed the foundation of this activity. Agam Regency was one of the hardest-hit areas by the flash floods and landslides that struck West Sumatra in early December 2025. Nagari Salareh Aia in Palembayan District was devastated by a flash flood on December 5, 2025, causing houses to collapse, vehicles to be swept away, and main roads to be covered in mud.
