Police Search for Co-Accused of MLA Rahul Mamkootathil at Friend’s House

Police arrived at the home of Aneesh, friend of Jobi Joseph, last Sunday in Pattanamthitta to begin their investigation into the assault case involving MLA Rahul Mamkootathil. Jobi Joseph, a co-accused in the case, is reported to have changed his location to Chengannur, his hometown, since the investigation began. Authorities suspect Jobi Joseph’s involvement based on phone records, prompting the police visit. A notice was given in Tiruvananthapuram to provide information to the police. At the same time, the police conducted a search at the residence of Palakkad’s Aneesh as part of the investigation, checking for digital evidence. However, no CCTV footage related to the previous incidents was found at the security room in the party’s location.
