The pollution crisis in the National Capital Region (NCR) has once again reached a dangerous level. Most areas in Delhi-NCR have recorded Air Quality Index (AQI) above 400, which indicates a severe health hazard. The immediate implementation of GRAP-3 (Graded Response Action Plan) has been initiated, with non-essential construction activities and the use of diesel generators banned. This move comes in response to the deteriorating air quality in the region.
