Enforcement Directorate MD took action against Popular Front, seizing assets worth Rs 67 crore in 7 districts, including Thrissur Green Valley. The seizure included lands in Thiruvananthapuram of the PFI worth 131 crores. They alleged that funds were collected through various means, including funding from overseas channels, hawala, donations, etc. Over 100 people were arrested in a nationwide raid by the NIA in September 2022, with 19 leaders from Kerala being implicated.
