Porsche Fans Amazed: German Power Revealed in Emerald Shine

At the Icons of Porsche festival in Dubai, the public premiere of the fully electric next-generation Porsche Macan took place. Several versions of the model were showcased, including the Macan 4S and the flagship Macan GTS, designed as part of the special Gems Collection, highlighting the signature colors Sapphire, Emerald, and Amethyst. The electric Macan is built on the PPE platform, developed in collaboration with Audi. It features an 800-volt architecture, allowing for a charge from 10 to 80% in just 21 minutes at a 270 kW station. The Macan 4S version produces up to 380 kW (516 hp) in overboost mode and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, with a top speed of 240 km/h. The top-tier Macan GTS is even faster, with 420 kW (571 hp), reaching 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. Both versions come with all-wheel drive, a dual-motor setup, and a redesigned suspension with even sportier settings. Porsche promotes the idea that the new Macan has the ‘lowest center of gravity among all SUVs of the brand.’ The design is cleaner and more technical, featuring narrow upper DRLs, main headlights in the lower block, a smooth roofline, and a wide beltline. The vibrant colors and golden wheels on the show car emphasize the collectible Gems Collection concept. The increased aerodynamic package and completely closed ‘radiator’ panel, a characteristic feature of modern Porsche EVs, are also noticeable in the photos. The interior follows the Taycan’s style, with a large curved display, digital instrument cluster, premium materials, and deep personalization options. The Macan EV GTS will hit dealerships in the spring of 2026. The price in the USA starts at $105,350, significantly lower than the Turbo but noticeably higher than the 4S version. The Russian market is uncertain due to restrictions, but demand for the electric Macan is expected to be high, as it remains one of the brand’s most popular SUV models.
