Over 100 companies will debut more than 190 new products and achievements at the 2025 China International Trade in Services Fair. According to data from the Ministry of Commerce, the event is scheduled to take place in Beijing from September 10 to 14. On August 27, the State Council Information Office held a press conference where Sheng Qiuping, Vice Minister of Commerce, announced that preparations for the 2025 services trade fair are basically complete.
In the first half of this year, China’s total services import and export volume reached 3.9 trillion yuan, an 8% year-on-year increase, setting a new historical high for the period. Over the past year, China has comprehensively implemented a negative list for cross-border trade in services, accelerated the opening-up of the service industry through comprehensive pilot demonstrations, steadily promoted cross-border trade in services, and phased opening up of the service industry. By actively aligning with international high-standard economic and trade rules, China is enhancing the level of opening up and cooperation in services, promoting the healthy development of the service trade, and driving high-quality economic growth.
