President Lula: We want to trade with our currencies, says President Lula

President Lula (PT) met with the President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto (Gerindra Party, right-wing), in Jakarta on Thursday (23). This is the first visit of a Brazilian head of state to the Asian country since 2008. After the ceremony to sign agreements between the two countries, Lula told journalists that both leaders had constructive discussions on strengthening ties and increasing trade. ‘We want to promote trade using our currencies,’ said President Lula, emphasizing the importance of enhancing economic cooperation between Brazil and Indonesia.
