Preta Gil’s ex-husband receives declaration from new girlfriend on social media; find out who she is

Preta Gil’s ex-husband, personal trainer Rodrigo Godoy, was spotted in a romantic mood in Paty do Alferes with his new girlfriend. He posted a video on Instagram’s feed watching the sunset with Rhuana Rodrigues and received a declaration from her. The couple, who confirmed their relationship in August, are in sync, sharing workouts and videos together. ‘It was amazing. I love you,’ she said. He’s already integrated into his girlfriend’s family. A week ago, he even filmed a video with his mother-in-law, playing a prank on her and his new love. ‘Sorry, mother-in-law!’ he said. Discreet, Rhuana Rodrigues takes a different approach. She has a private profile with 814 followers. She’s a mother to a daughter named Alice, a native of Rio, an Aries, and enjoys weight training as much as the personal trainer. It was with her that Godoy reappeared publicly in August, almost a month after Preta Gil’s death, when he posted photos of a trip to Búzios. The relationship, which had been going on for months, brought criticism to the personal trainer due to the tumultuous history of the end of his marriage to the singer. Preta, in her memoir released on her 50th birthday, talks about the pain of betrayal and lack of support during cancer, a theme that reignites negative comments on Rodrigo’s posts. Despite that, he continues to share videos praising workouts with his girlfriend. In one of them, he was seen working out with Rhuana and wrote: ‘Date someone who will do a back workout with you on a Saturday.’ When he asked his followers if they also do couple workouts, he received a direct jab: ‘In your case, date someone who doesn’t get sick, right?’ a follower said. He got into the fight, maintaining the ‘I won’t take disrespect’ style: ‘In your case, change professions, psychologist!’ he retorted. Preta passed away on July 20, in the United States, during an experimental treatment for cancer. She was mourned at the Municipal Theater, had a procession in downtown Rio, and was cremated in Caju. Her ashes were divided among symbolic places, and part of them is being turned into a diamond, a memorial jewel, a trend that has already won over celebrities like André Marques, Luiza Possi, and Flávia Pedras. Even after the final farewell, the story of the marriage still resonates. After being accused of cheating on his ex-wife with a stylist, he commented at the time of the memoir’s release: ‘If I were to go down a hole for everything that has been said about me, I would be screwed. I’ve always been called a gigolo, opportunist, user. I know myself better than anyone,’ he replied in stories, talking about the book: ‘I haven’t read it, I won’t read it. I know how things will be written. They will use my words however it suits them.’
