Private colleges are shutting down in protest against the delay in fee reimbursement. The government set up a committee to address the fee reimbursement issue, which was made clear by the Chief Secretary the day after the committee was formed. The government announced that the committee, along with representatives, is studying the stable reimbursement scheme provided by the Trust Bank. Private colleges welcomed the committee’s formation, requesting a submission within a month, as mentioned by Ramesh Babu.
