Protests in POK: Military Chief Munir to be given ‘unlimited’ power

In POK, youth are taking to the streets demanding constitutional reforms similar to Bangladesh and Nepal, leading to a surge in military and ‘unlimited’ power under Asim Munir, potentially disrupting democratic balance. In Islamabad, waves of demonstrations against the Shahbaz government have started resembling a potent movement. Violent outbursts a month prior and again recently showing an escalation led by young leaders. Demonstrations against educational reforms have now shifted towards a showdown with the Sharif government. Plans are being made to grant Asim Munir ‘unlimited’ power following the 27th constitutional amendment in Pakistan.
