Putin signs decree on visa-free entry for Chinese citizens into Russia

President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has signed a decree on the temporary procedure for entry and exit of Chinese citizens from Russia. The document allows citizens of China to enter Russia without a visa for up to 30 days until September 14, 2026. The decree, published on the legal information portal, states that Chinese citizens can visit Russia for tourist, business, scientific, cultural, socio-political, economic, and sports events, as well as transit through Russia without a visa. This is based on their regular passport.
