Moscow. November 28. INTERFAX.RU – Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit India on a state visit on December 4-5 at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to the Kremlin’s press service. “This visit is of great importance, providing the opportunity to comprehensively discuss the extensive agenda of Russian-Indian relations of the particularly privileged strategic partnership in political, trade-economic, scientific-technological, and cultural-humanitarian areas, as well as to consider current international and regional issues. These issues will be at the center of talks with the Indian delegation led by Narendra Modi,” the statement said. There will also be a separate meeting between the Russian President and Indian President Droupadi Murmu, a Kremlin spokesperson stated. “Following the negotiations, a joint statement will be issued, and a number of bilateral interdepartmental and commercial documents will be signed,” added the press service.
