Rain mars Pakistan’s hopes as points split amidst England’s batting crumble

After Fatima Sana’s impressive four-wicket haul, England struggled and were reduced to 133 for 9 in a rain-shortened match. Pakistan, however, didn’t get the opportunity to finish the chase. Last week, Pakistan had also put Australia in trouble at 76/7 before rain intervened. Showing promise, Pakistan aimed for their first victory in the Women’s World Cup, but it was not meant to be. Despite their bowlers’ efforts, the weather played spoilsport, leading to the points being split between the teams.
