In the Rajura Vidhan Sabha constituency, the police have submitted initial information in the FIR regarding the 6,853 bogus voter registrations. These registrations list seven phone numbers used for fake registrations, raising suspicions about the authenticity of the voter enrollments.
The accused candidates and the District President of the Congress party in the Rajura voter’s association, Subhash Dhote, have been accused of voter fraud since the announcement of election results. Additionally, farmer union leader and former MLA, Adv. Vamanrao Chatap, has also alleged the registration of at least one thousand bogus voters.
