Actress Rakul Preet Singh, who worked with Ajay Devgn in ‘De De Pyaar De 2’, revealed her equation with him. She made it clear that she and Ajay Devgn will never be friends and explained the reason behind it. In fact, Rakul acted alongside Ajay in two movies, playing the role of his lover in both. During an interview, she was asked if she and Ajay Devgn were good friends, to which she clearly stated that they will never be able to become friends. She also provided an explanation for it.
Furthermore, in an interview with a Bollywood portal, Rakul said, ‘We are not friends. I have a lot of respect for this bond. In my eyes, he is still Ajay Devgn, isn’t he? He is a very senior actor and an extraordinary human being.’ She continued, ‘For me, the term ‘sir’ will always be there. Understand? It means, you have friendship with senior or young actors. But with Ajay sir, in my mind, that ‘sir’ is still there and I am not among those who can claim to be new to themselves, but I am still much less experienced in front of him. So, our relationship is like that.’
The movie ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ is currently running in theaters. According to a report in Sakal Times, the film has earned ₹551.10 crore in just seven days. Directed by Anshul Sharma, this movie features Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh, along with Madhavan, Jaaved Jaffrey, Mizaan Jaffrey, Gautami Kapoor, and Esha Deol in various roles.
