Residents report power outage in several states of the country

Residents from various regions of the country reported on social media a power outage in the early hours of Tuesday (14). There are reports from residents of the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Ceará, Mato Grosso do Sul, Amazonas, and Santa Catarina. In some cases, a power outage lasting only a few seconds was noticed. In others, streets and buildings were without electricity for up to 20 minutes. Amazonas Energia stated in a note that at 11:32 pm on Monday (13), there was a ‘disturbance in the SIN (National Interconnected System),’ interrupting the power supply in neighborhoods of Manaus, Parintins, and Itacoatiara.
