Tangerang – The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj) is set to implement a major revamp of the Hajj queue system in Indonesia. With the new system, the waiting time for Hajj will be significantly reduced, from the current maximum of 48 years. “We are making this change to ensure that pilgrims do not have to wait an unreasonable amount of time to fulfill their religious obligations,” stated a representative from Kemenhaj. The overhaul aims to streamline the process and make it more efficient for Indonesian Muslims who wish to undertake the Hajj pilgrimage.
