Back in the late 1990s, my kids almost wore out our VHS copy of Dreamworks’ animated musical film ‘The Prince of Egypt.’ The biblical story of the Hebrews’ Exodus from Egypt had a fantastic score, a fast-paced plot, and well-crafted, often thrilling moments. Moonlight Stage Productions recently brought ‘Prince of Egypt’ to the live stage, showcasing impressive vocal performances but facing criticism for uneven execution.
