Jakarta – Bullying cases are still prevalent in the Indonesian education system. Perpetrated by fellow students, bullying often takes place within school environments. The latest bullying tragedy occurred in Rawas Utara (Muratara), South Sumatra. In this particular case, a student became the victim of physical and verbal abuse by several classmates. The increasing prevalence of bullying in educational institutions is a cause for concern as it can have long-lasting detrimental effects on the mental and emotional well-being of students.
