The team is currently undergoing training camp in China before the competition in Thailand. Despite his desire to retire from the national team, preparations are in full swing for Rivan and his teammates to achieve the mission set by the Indonesian Volleyball Federation. The target for the team is to secure the gold medal at the upcoming SEA Games. Rivan Nurmulki’s lighthearted response during the squad send-off grabbed attention. In a video posted by MojiSports, he amusingly replied ‘Not gonna happen’ to well-wishes for success. Rivan is set to compete at the 33rd edition of the SEA Games as part of the 14-man squad led by coach Jeff Jiang Jie. Despite being 30 years old, Rivan remains a key player for the national team in the opposite position.
