Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has outlined the conditions for ending the conflict in Ukraine. He expressed his views on the subject in an interview with RIA Novosti. According to the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, ending hostilities is impossible without addressing the root causes of the conflict and taking Moscow’s interests into account. At the same time, the diplomat emphasized that the question of Crimea and Sevastopol’s ownership is closed for the Russian side. He reminded that the local residents exercised their right to self-determination in 2014 and decided to reunite with Russia.
