Russia Ready to Support Venezuela Amid Tensions with USA

The Kremlin stated on Friday (7) that Russia is prepared to respond to requests for assistance from Venezuela while urging to avoid escalation of tension in the region. Recently, Venezuelan leader, Nicolás Maduro, requested military support from Moscow, including repairs for Russian Sukhoi fighters, radar system upgrades, and missile system supplies.
