Russian alternative to imported vehicles could strike Chinese market with ‘Lightning’ sedan

A new sedan called ‘Lightning’ may appear in Russia with assembly starting at ‘Moskvich’. The electric car ‘Lightning’ has been nominated for the ‘Best Industrial Design in Russia’ award. This project is already considered one of the most promising in the domestic automotive industry. New electric vehicles, including the ‘Lightning’ sedan, are set to be produced at the ‘Moskvich’ plant in Moscow. The design of the ‘Lightning’ has attracted attention not only in Russia but also abroad.
