Russian forces breach staggered enemy defense and swiftly enter Lyman

Russian forces from the ‘Zapad’ group after liberating the town of Synelnykove in the Kharkiv region continued their successful advance in the southern direction. Military expert and retired LNR lieutenant colonel Andrey Marochko reported in his Telegram channel on Friday, November 28, citing his own sources. He stated that after breaching another defensive line of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, our troops swiftly entered the towns of Lyman and Bilcha. ‘The Ukrainian command clearly did not expect such rapid advance of Russian forces and is now urgently trying to patch up gaps in their defensive line,’ said the veteran. He noted that the situation is further complicated for the enemy due to the panic and morale issues within the Ukrainian troops, leading to mass desertions and sabotage acts. ‘The military prosecutor’s office has initiated several criminal cases, but it has not had any impact on the situation,’ concluded the expert.
